its probably too late as treatment is started but you can ask for a referral to an oncologist who just deals with cancer, they have up to date knowledge of the best treatments available and have actually helped us a great deal, we are going to see ours again on tuesday, it is also a good idea to do a search on www.groups.yahoo.com for canine cancer groups, the information availabe on these groups can be very helpful as can the people themselves, all of which have gone through what you are going through now, the files in these groups tend to hold alot of valuable information.

Hi, Got rott who occasionally gets wet excema and then rips herself raw when it itches, foud gamgee padding and vetwrap bandage on her foot usually stays on the best.
used to take her out and get      'oh dear what has she done to her foot?'      Nothing!!! but she uses it as an offensive weapon!!!
Hope Kane does ok

im so glad he is home with you. re the vet thinking it doesnt look good, my friend was diagnosed with a massive tumour last summer and told he wouldnt make it to christmas, they operated anyway to remove it and 6 weeks later when it came back from histology  (or wherever it went), it was found to be harmless, so fingers crossed for you,  xxx

I am so sorry to hear your news. I lost my collie x GSD to a nasal tumour this time 2 years ago and it was a terrible time. I now have a Rottie, and although I love her dearly, she will never replace Barnie.

My thoughts are with you at this heartbreaking time.
