I have been sent this several times by mates, do you think they are trying to tell me something???
Hopefully its right so thought I would share it with all of you....
Women are like Apples

Women are like apples on trees.
The best ones are at the top of the tree.
Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and hurting themselves. Instead, they sometimes take the apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they are amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough to climb to the top of the tree.

As someone who was single until I was 35 and am now married - climb higher and faster!!! :-D :-D

I had a male friend who used to tell me that the reason I was alone was I was too scary. Too intelligent, good looking, fit, independent and capable. Put most men off. He may have been wrong but it sure sounded good to me ;-) bless him, just like my daddy

I think it's kind of true Lea. I had a boyfriend who was useless at DIY. It really bugged him when I could do my own plumbing, wiring and construction, nothing too major but he felt threatened. Of course he was a complete jerk that I should have gotten rid of the first week but that's another story! LOL But he wasn't the only one. I had a tendency to not need most of the guys I was with.

I still think the only reason I'm married is because I moved countries rather than date long term. I made such a sacrifice financially to come here that we both stuck out the bad times when I would have normally walked. So find yourself a nice guy overseas and just move in with him. Worked for me ;-)

So what's the answer Lea?  I've done single for 8yrs now and probably that's long enough.  However, there haven't been many opportunities that have jumped out in that time so I guess it's not working to sit back and see what happens (answer: nothing!).

I've got a good life, nice house, polite children, no debts (now!), good career, emotionally intelligent, etc so could be considered as having partner potential but I do have three children - but only one who is still dependent and three very dependent dogs.  I have a reasonable social life and no shortage of friends (many male) but .... what do you do?  Stay at the top of the tree or compromise and become a faller?!!!

mmmmm, tough choice, tonight it is become a windfall.
Tomorrow will probably stay at top of tree!!!!
Think thats the 10million dollar question unfortunatly :( :( :(
