i have been looking at my dogs pedigree and he has about 13 dogs and under there name it says full bva/kc certificate for normal hip but no score am i right in thinking they have a score of 00 or is there another reason

The old scheme was either pass(called a certificate), breeders letter or fail

The pass is the equivalent to a 0-4 score(no more than 2 on either hip)

The breeders letter is equivalent to a 3-8(3 if it is one hip is over 2, & not more than 4 on either hip)

The fail is equivalent to a score of over 5 upwards(5-8 if one hip is over 5, or the total score is 9 upwards)

My import ,Echo, had both a HD certificate & also a 0-0=0 score as his plates were scored as soon as scoring was brought in

My BC, Glen, had a breeders letter & a score of 3-3=6 his plates were also scored as soon as it was brought in
