My msn messenger wont work, it says something to do with the default gateway being offline but I can access the interent so I dont unerstand why it wont work.  I was just wondering if there was anyone techy on here who knows how I could fix it ?

also, could someone please pm me the link for the quiz, I usually use explorer which I get to through msn but im having to use firefox and I dont have the link on here.

Can't help with msn, I have trouble with mine not wanting to open sometimes, but I'll pm you the links, don't know which one you want but I got both :)

I had trouble with MSN messenger the other day too, as did a friend I was trying to chat with at the time.  If MSN is experiencing difficulties you can access MSN Messenger through this:

This will work even when MSN is playing up and you can also log on to several other messenger sites.

Hopefully it's sorted by now but when the error message cam eup did it have a row of numbers (maybe some letters?) if so just type that into google or similar and it will tell you  the problem. :)

If all else fails there's always online messenger.

ive done that rox and it is telling me to delete mesenger and re load it but I cant seem to delete it because I am going through firefox instead of explorer because I dont have explorer on my desk top, the only way I can get to it is through messenger

its been about 3 days now and still hasnt fixed itself, dont know what else to do :(

thats what it suggested on google but I couldnt do it :rolleyes: the pop box that is supposed to come up doesnt come up on my pc for some reason so I dont get the option to uninstall it :(

Have you tried going through your 'add and remove programmes' Claire? you should be able to uninstall it from there.
