Just got back after a very long and emotional day :)

The service was very moving and it really brought home how very special Michelle was to so many people and how brave she has been right to the end :)

There were many tears shed but also many smiles and laughs ;)

I met Richard, his mum and dad and Michelle's dad Graham and also Patrick her brother all very lovely people :)

They all wanted me to pass on their thanks to everybody on CD and also Lab Rescue.It meant so much to see how caring everybody is. All the messages were printed of and left for everybody at the Party,all 92 pages

A long day, but a day that I will never forget :)

Oh Lucy, I'm happy all went as well as can be. I was certainly there with you in thought.....big smiles to heaven but tears also - from someone who barely knew Michelle. I won't ever forget her  :-)  :-(

Lucy, I have been thinking of you all day!  It was raining here at 9.40 but nevertheless, the sun was shining down on you all I am sure!  I expected it to be a good day for you in a funny sort of way, it must have been a pleasure to have met all Michelle's family and friends and good for them to know that she was so well thought of.  Michelle  would probably have enjoyed it, bless her!

Glad to hear everything went well but poor Lucy, you must be feeling absolutely shattered.  Make sure you give yourself a good pampering tonight and over the weekend.

I was thinking of you as well as Michelle today. Time to sit back, remember how much you enjoyed Michelle, celebrate her life - and get the cucumbers out for those puffy eyes. ;-)

Big hugs to you Lucy. We know Michelle is in a grand place now. (I'm sure she's surrounded by dogs and chocolates! and found a Debenhams with hair repellant clothing that lets you take your dog shopping with you) :)

Hi Lucy,

thanks for taking the time to update us after what must have been a long and emotionally exhausting day.  I've not been able to get Michelle out of my head nor any of you there for that matter.  How lovely that all the messages were there for everyone to read - I'm sure she would be very proud and happy about that :)

Her family will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.  Michelle is in a much better place than any of us right now!
