I have received the following email:
Hi,
I am Graham Hall Michelle Kirmans father. I would like to pass on my sincere thanks to all of your members who have placed messages in her memory. Michelle was special to all of us and as your members will know dogs played a big part in her life. Iam sure that you will all have your own individual memories of Michelle and I know she touch a lot of peoples heart's. She had a passion for life and her strength was amazing and I am sure that she will look down on all of you and your dogs.
Once again
Thankyou

Thanks to Admin for posting this :)
For Mr Hall and all of Michelle's family, your bravery, courage and thoughtfulness have shone throughout this tragic period and I hope you have found some comfort from the knowledge that Michelle was very much cared for by so many.
May God bless you all and bring you peace in heart and mind.

What a nice message. Thank you Mr Hall. What a lovely and brave family Michelle had.

Can someone tell me when Michelle died?

I caught a message that appeared to be some time after the even.
I know she had been diagnosed with Cancer and was bravely fighting it.
I hope that in the end she had peace, and was able to go th way she would wish.

Lucy would you be so kind as to represent us all? I'm sure I am not the only one who would love (in a strange sort of way) to be there to pay my respects in person. I am very grateful that you are going to such lengths to be there and thank you for that.

Lucy would you be so kind as to represent us all?Ditto, if I hadnt been working I would have gone to say goodbye to one strong lady :)
Now, seeing as we are michelles CD angels, and black is not to be worn,
I think Michelle would love Lucy to wear an angels outfit, complete with halo, with C D printed on it :D :D :D :D

The only halo I would ever be allowed to wear ;) :D
Michelle had a wicked sense of humour and remember us talking through when she had to go and get her wigs fitted with the hair loss because of her Chemo :) She made a joke about it rather than worrying about it. That is what she was like ;)

Thank you Lucy for representing us all.
I'm posting this again, for those of us who are thinking of Michelle at this time :-
am standing upon the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength. I stand and watch her until at length she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other. Then someone at my side says, "There, she is gone."
"Gone where?"
Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast and hull and spar as she was when she left my side, and she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port. Her diminished size is in me, not in her. And just at the moment when someone at my side says, "There, she is gone!" there are other eyes watching her coming, and there are other voices ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!" And that is dying.
- Henry van Dyke (1852 - 1933) American author, educator, and clergyman

Thanks for posting Grahams message, what a wonderful family Michelle had and so comforting to know how much our thoughts and prayers have meant to all her loved ones.
I haven't been on here for a long long time and am so so sad to hear that Michelle has left us.
I remember my time on here chatting with her and reading her posts which always made me smile.
**sleep tight**
