Kerioak has prompted me to post this. What are your fave non-doggy, especially shopping sites? Among mine that I visit often are
www.haburi.com for very reasonably priced designer and non- designer clothes
www.mytravel.co.uk for the very cheapest holiday auction site ( well I can dream!)
www.mandmsports.com for cheap sports clothes

Have re-read these and it makes me sound like a rigt ol' cheap skate - which of course I am! If you have found any "gems" please share them here.

Mine are all non-UK sites :( Still I've heard from some of you that even with shipping, it can be cheaper to order from US. That's probably because there's no sales tax for orders outside the state where the company is located and our mail is not that expensive :) :) :)

Landsend.com, Amazon.com, BN.com, DrsFosterandsmith.com (puppy stuff :) ), Ancestry.com: familytreemaker.com/glc, cyndislist.com (lists and lists of gen. linkages :) ), jcpennys.com, llbean.com
and for good solid movie news and reviews: Upcomingmovies.com and suntimes.com/ebert :D :D

Hi Sam

I'm a big eBay Seller too :-) and have been for nearly two years, it is a great way of making some extra money for holidays. It more or less paid for our trip to Las Vegas last year !!

Please feel free to e-mail me for any tips of Florida as I've been there lots of times !!

I like Pets Planet (www.petsplanet.co.uk) for pet stuff, they always deliver really quickly and they handle returns really well too, Amazon.co.uk for books and music, Play 247 (www.play247.com) for DVDs and vids, Tesco.com for all sorts of bargains including electrical stuff.

For non-shopping sites, obviously Champdogs for doggy info, I also use the Internet Movie database a lot for film info (www.IMDb.com or .co.uk)

Ebay is excellent too, it's amazing what you can buy on there!

..... but the only time I visit non-doggy sites is purely by accident - you mean there is a whole list of them out there?

After looking up a soup recipe for tonights tea, I remembered this thread and thought you guys might find some inspiration for your own dinners from a couple of my favourite sites sainsburys recipes or if you are a fan of indian food Mamtas kitchen has smashing recipes, pretty easy really and homely and authentic, I know I've been there. That should make a nice change from hacking up chicken wings ;) :D

My fish pie took 3 1/2 hours last night, I couldn't believe it !!!! If only I examined my capabilities before having these bright ideas.....

Please would you share your recipe with me, I love fish pie and don't know how to cook it

Hubby is also on a diet to lose four stone (56lbs) so fish would be good

Will sort it out and do it for you tommorrow - Have you got a spare 3 1/2 hrs then LOL ???? ;) No it was lovely but I'm not particularly sure if good for diets with cream and creme fraiche and cheese (but you can pretend that's not in there !!!!!) Maybe if you can actually cook it will take about 15 mins :D :D
