Right a different slant to the Broadband question.  Does anybody know a Broadband company who allow people who don't have credit cards to sign up?  My dad and also myself just have debit cards and BT and Virgin Media do not accept payment by debit card.

Seems a bit strange not to accept debit cards as they would get the money instantly.

For Virgin Media, do you have to have a virgin phone for the TV package & do you have to have aBT landline? We are in the process of changing over to Tesco homephone & have sky+ but would quite like to do away with sky & try a cheaper option.

I have BT broadband and they just add it onto my phone bill every 3 months.  I think Orange let you pay direct debit although I wouldn't recommend them for broadband.

virginmedia have taken over telewest and NTL so if you have a phone line with either of these companies you don't have to do anything and they are just changing everything over for you.

I'm with BT and it's all done through direct debit. They've never asked for a credit card.

With BT and we pay by direct debit now but up until a few months ago it was just added to our normal phone bill and was paid in cash/cheque at the bank. :)

AOL will let you sign up with just your bank details for direct debit :)
