So sad, again another person sat here crying for someone they only knew through the CD world, but who in the face of her illness was brave, courageous and always dignified, may you rest in peace Michelle and my thoughts go out to Richard and all the family during this difficult time please accept my heartfelt sympathy.

I just had a feeling that something had happened today - don't ask me why. I feel so much for Richard and all the family - God bless Michelle - He's got one of our best up there with Him

I think this was Michelle's last message on CD ;)
Thanks to everyone for all the good wishes It means so much to me and my family.
Surgery is likely to be Monday or Tuesday now, as the hospital forgot to do the MRSA screening so now we are awainting the results of that .
I am home until Monday and feeling fine apart from feeling a little tiredand waking up with a bad back today. I just want to get the surgery out of the way so i can crack on with the chemo and zap these nasty unwanted cells away. At least once the op is done that is one less thing to worry about.
Thanks again to all you Champdogs angels
Michelle x A very brave wonderful woman

I find an old photograph
and see your smile.
As I feel your presence anew,
I am filled with warmth
and my heart remembers love.
I read an old card
sent many years ago
during a time of turmoil and confusion.
The soothing words written then
still caress my spirit
and bring me peace.
I remember who you used to be
the laughter we shared
and wonder what you have become.
Where are you now,
Where did you go,
When the body is left behind
and the spirit is released to fly?
Perhaps you are the morning bird
singing joyfully at sunrise,
or the butterfly that dances
so carelessly on the breeze
or the rainbow of colors
that brightens a stormy sky
or the fingers of afternoon mist
delicately reaching over the mountains
or the final few rays of the setting sun
lighting up the skies
edging the clouds with a magical glow.
I miss your being
but I feel your presence,
In whatever form you choose to take,
however you now choose to be.
Your spirit has become for me
a guardian angel on high
guiding, advising, and watching over me.
I remember you.
You are with me
and I am not afraid.

I have just spent an hour reading through all posts made by Michelle, she truelly was an amazing person, I read about her impending marriage to Richard in Cyprus, the loss of her mother in 2003, the first diagnosis from an MRI scan through to her treatment and operations, although the internet and the written word cannot compensate for knowing someone in the flesh, I felt I had came to know Michelle, she came across as a very selfless person, who was fun and would give her advise and sympathy to others, regardless of what she was going through herself. I think we all on Champdogs have had the chance of knowing a true Angel for a while
God Bless her and all her family xx

I've only just returned from holiday and to such sad news. My thoughts and sympathies really go out to Richard and Michelle's family and friends (Liv, Lucy and others). I'd like to imagine she's somewhere beautiful surrounded by her furry and non-furry loved ones. I won't make the funeral but will stop and have a moment to celebrate her life. The world will be a poorer place without her.
So sorry to hear about this, i didnt know Michelle, but like Lori says, i hope she is somewhere beautiful on the other side :)

This is such sad news. I didn't know Michelle personally, but my thoughts are with her family.

May God bless and treasure you Michelle and I pray that Richard finds strength in the knowledge that Michelle was and is much loved and so highly thought of.
I can't believe what's happened - such a positive, brave and caring person taken much too soon :(
RIP hun, much love, Teri xxx
