I took one of my dog to ring craft 3 weeks ago and about 10 days later she started coughing with kennel cough anyway my question is when she has stoped coughing how long should i wait until she can start going out around other dogs without infecting ( sp) them

This is something I have tried to research several times but the data available seems very conflicting and appears to be guesswork at best.  My vet assures me that once they are asymptomatic, ie not coughing, they are no longer infectious but I like to leave it a further week if possible just to be on the safe side.

I would agree with you Isabel - always been told its once coughing has ceased but like to give an extra week to be safe! :)
