what springs foremost to my mind, is that this is more a classic example of not to buy a pup from a petstore enviroment and the ensuing socialisation/behavioural problems of this start to life combined with a novice owner...
more than it being a classic example of 'puggle' temperament.
I guess Im erring more on Nurture than Nature here (not.of course, applicable in all examples..but pertinent here I feel)
Non the less a cautionary tale indeed.....
Poor dogs :(

I dug a bit deeper here and went onto the website of the person whose website this was on. Doesn't say much about HOW he trains dogs (because you have to pay to find out) but soon found a nice picture of him with a Dobermann, all smiles -and the Dobermann is wearing a prong collar!

Like you say HG it speaks more for the wrong people getting a puppy than for the actual cross, shame it wasn't highlighted more why designer crosses are wrong. Still, if it puts  people off, by making them believe they all turn  aggressive, then that's not a bad thing.

i was wondering about it myself-- i didnt think pugs or beagles were known for aggression?

Beagles should show no aggression and should be of even temprement, so any nastiness does not come from the beagle side.

I saw an advert for pedigree jam-bone today and there is a puggle in the add:confused::mad:

I know someone who breeds her jack russell bitch with any small to med pedigree dog she can get her hands on, she goes up to the owner on a walk and asks when her bitch comes into season can she use their pet dog, she offers them £50 and normally they agree. When the puppies are ready to go she will sell them to anyone who has got the money. She makes out she is a dog lover and goes all gooey and talks to them like babies but i know different, and its all done for money.
