Suki (nearly 4 months)has been off her food since Friday. When I say off her food, she really has hardly had anything and I've tried soaking her normal food, rice pudding (she licked the milk off), rice, chicken anything I could think off really.  Yesterday she let me hand feed her a little, but not today.  She is her normal happy self, full of energy and no high temperature.  Yesterday when I looked in her mouth I noticed, her 2 front teeth were missing and looked red and sore.  What I wanted to know was do they really go off their food that much with teething?  If so I will try to relax and stop fussing!

Ah poor girl :(

I know dogs can go off their food when they are teething, not sure how much is normal though.  Maybe check it out with your vet to put your mind at rest?

Something that seemed to help Jasper when he was teething was Weleda Chamomilla drops.  Also Bonjela, but that was difficult to get onto the right spot.  You could put a damp cloth in the freezer and let her chew on that when it's frozen too!

I've just had another look at her teeth.  The top 2 new ones are just peeping out, but now the bottom 2 have gone!  Poor thing, she had some tea, less than a quarter of what she would normally have though.  I'll see what she thinks of the damp cloth in the freezer!
