Paisley started her first season on Christmas day. She is still swollen, is this normal or should it of shrunk back to a small size. Also she was out with the dog walker on Wednesday and she attacked a small dog for no apparent reason?? Shes been kicked out for a few weeks, to see if her hormones settle down, my mate thinks she could be having a phantom pregnancy, thats why shes still swollen and wierd? Any ideas, anyone??

Sorry, You are right not clear at all. Shes been kicked out by the dog walker, not allowed to go out for walks with her. She is in disgrace. Oh and should i have mentioned she has started snapping at the cats?? She dosent normally.

Check for any signs of illness first although it has to be said some bitches do change after their first season re other bitches but not to the extent of being unmanageable, can only speak from my own experience.  If she is physically fit it may just be that you need to go back to basics and retrain her regarding walking and bothering other dogs, I have had to do this with one of mine.
