i wish i did know someone in the police, that would be ideal, although the car is probably nicked anyway!!! I will try & drop it into conversation when i speak to the herdsman in a few days, see if he can tell me their names! Trouble is it looks a bit odd if you ask their surname as well as their 1st names!!
NO!! Lucy they can't do a search for them as it ilegal under the Data protection Act and Police officers are not allowed to 'do searches' for members of the public...they get into serious trouble and noawdays they have to account for each search! All the best, Dawn
Sam surely if you have concerns of any kind that makes you suspicious, then you must pass on your concerns to people who can investigate..... Even if it is crimestoppers as you are allowed to remain anonymous. Karen
I've made anonymous calls to the police before, although they can easily trace your phone anyway. If I was that worried about a seriously dodgy neighbour I would phone anonymously from a public phone or phone crimestoppers.
You dont have to be anonymous if you dont want to be and if you choose not to be then you can deal with a named person who you could refer back to. This could then be documented for your benefit too. You might feel a little easier too. Karen ;-)
