Have a look at our Flat Coated Retriever Information. You will find breeder and breed club details there. I am sure that someone from these sources will be able to recommend a litter to you.

Try ringing Shirley Johnson who is the breed litter secretary. She knows where every litter in the UK is and can put you in touch with a responsible breeder. telephone: 01638 718231
I do know of a litter with puppies available but they are not in the area you specify. You may find that you will have to travel further to find the puppy you want. If you require any further information please ring me on 01844 299508 or email: foxpath4@yahoo.com
Do remember to ask the breeder of your puppy to show you the eye testing certificates for both the sire and dam, showing the result of their gonioscopy tests. Also ask to see the hip scoring certificates for both sire and dam. 0-0 is the best hip score currently we are averaging 9 total, to arrive at this score you add together the scores for each hip, (i.e. 2-2=total 4). Do be prepared to have your puppy tested for glaucoma at six months of age.

Just to add to Polly's note - a well bred flatcoat pup is worth travelling for - don't limit your area geographically, or you may be disappointed.
