For all you Jack Bauer fans, the new series starts on Sunday 21st January at 9pm on SkyOne (double episode) - apparently picks up story 20 months after end of last series. :)

I love 24 - thanks for this :)
I wonder how they are going to get Jack out whilst keeping it realistic?

Think you may be watching the wrong show if you want realistic, Carla. :D I certainly don't let it spoil my enjoyment ... LOL

LOL, good point. I guess one man saving the US no less than 6 times and all done in 24 hours, being tortured, beated, kidnapped, wife killed, daughter stolen is pushing it a tad?

But he does it sooooo well ...

He is soooo sexy with it :D

Can never understand how someone who looks so like Keith Chegwin can be so sexy, but he pulls it off. :D

LOL!! Thats right - ruin the illusion for me!
Is he as sexy out of 24 though?
I think that gorgeous voice of his is the same all the time! :D
How can you say he looks like Keith Chegwin???!!! NO NO NO!!! I have fancied the pants off him since The Lost Boys! I think he is now single too......arrrrah...dreaming away now!

and yes, its the voice too that does it...

Serious question.............., when was the last time you had your eyes tested ?

That naked picture has put me off my lunch  :D :D

LOL, I maintain that KC looks like KS' geeky older brother ... :p (is that the right combination of letters for that icon?)

Depends on whether I had my contacts in and he was wearing a bag over his head

:D :D

Actually, until fairly recently, I'd have gone for Keifer's Dad over him, now that is a very sexy voice. Bit old even for me now though.

I think you have just made my day/week/year......my eyes nearly popped out of my head and I am salivating slightly

Still no feeling towards KC though!!

24, Desperate Housewives, Nip/Tuck, Ugly Betty & CBB.....I'm in heaven!! :) :)

I LOVE 24!! I'm watching the Season 5 box set now in preparation for the new series...only 6 hourse left to watch :D :D
I agree that there are plot holes you could drive a bus through but it wouldn't be the sheer entertainment that it is if they had to stick to a 'realistic' plot.

I'm watching the Season 5 box set at the moment too!! OH kindly bought is for Crimbo, and has had to put up with me being glued to the telly since then :-D I think he's regretting it now LOL!
I've got the last 3 hours to go, the plot has got some pretty unbelievable twists at times, but it's still my fave programme (and not just because of Kiefer, although it wouldn't be as good without him :) )

Enjoy it everybody.

Don't give anything away yet to those like me who are taping it to avoid having to sit through all the adverts! :D

Whoo. It was worth the wait. Can't wait until next week. The multi start was really useful.
Brilliant! Only Jack (or Bruce Willis :P) could endure all that torture and imprisonment and still go racing about, all cylinders firing. :D Nice to hear those cute ringtones at CTU again as well.
Did anyone know that the lady who plays oh so serious Chloe has actually been a stand up comedian? Saw it on the teletext yesterday. :)
Anyone know why Sky seems to be continuing to show this in 2 hourly chunks?

No idea. I liked it the first week but now I wish it would be just one at a time......make it last longer !.
Maybe they are trying to catch us up with the USA ?. They are usually ahead aren't they ?.
Val
I'd would rather have one hour at a time too Val, don't want it to end too quickly! :D

As of this Sunday its down to one episode only - Lost is on straight after :D
Jack Bower
followed by Jack the Doc
and Sawyer
Bliss :)
Oh good, one hour at a time is enough of a fix! :D

I am so determined I'm not going to watch any more Lost, they're just messing with our heads LOL. Can I be strong enough ...

I don't know but I missed last weeks two episodes and I'm going to miss tonight's as my Sky box has broken down. They are coming to repair it on Tuesday. Its taken so long because I had to wait for a new card to arrive as they thought it was a problem with the card at first. It's the first time I've ever missed 24. They used to repeat it in a block of three so I'm hoping I might still be able to catch up. Think of me at 9.

I will. Never mind - and to think - tonight is the night Jack takes all his clothes off - and you'll miss it !

Noooooooooooooooooooooooo
I think she's winding you up but I will be watching closely just in case she isn't!! :D :D

Hope for your sake that they will but they don't seem to be repeating it nearly as much this series. Think there is only one repeat of Sunday's episodes on late the following Saturday.
Just think though Ange, not being able to watch probably means your blood pressure is much healthier than ours! :P

Sky have just been and they've changed the box but quess what, the picture keeps breaking up and is unwatchable. He apologised but as he came at the end of the day he didn't have anymore boxes. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr I'm not happy. I've had to get on the phone again to Sky which takes ages and they are coming again on Friday. At least I'm not missing an episode of 24 in the meantime.
That's bad luck Ange. If all else fails and Sky doesn't repeat so you can catch up, you could take a look at the episode guide on this website
http://www.fox.com/24/ so at least you can follow the plot. Be warned though (and anyone else who might take a look) it automatically comes up with the most recent episode in the US who are of course ahead of us although only an hour now, so try not to look at that bit and just click on the relevant hours on the left for where we're up to here, ie finishing at 12 noon.

Thanks for that Annie that was really useful. I've read up until 10am as hopefully I'll be able to watch the repeat of the rest on saturday night. I'm glad they're still packing alot into an episode shame about Curtis though.
Glad to help - hope you can get back to seeing it live this weekend. :)
Have you managed to catch up now Ange?
