Just wondering what sort of things I could do with my Dog when we're in the house...... she seems fed up, I'd like to do some thing that includes both of us.......any suggestions please

Earl loves watching Dog Borstal (no I don't agree with their training methods), but he's highly entertained by the dogs on the show!

I also hide his dinner around the house and he has fun trying to hunt it out, he has me in hysterics and I've got quite devious about my hiding places.

We do a lot of training as well when we're at home - just things like getting him to 'shake hands', hold a treat on his nose, roll over, dead dog and all that.  I also use three plastic cups and hide a treat under one then get Earl to try to find the right one.  We've even played hide and seek with Earl; my 2.5 yr old daughter and I hide and then shout for Earl and he hunts us down - a source of great excitement for Earl.

If I think of anything else I'll let you know.

Get her to bring you toys so she learns the names of them and then play hide and seek with them?

We also play hide and seek with toys.  Play catch with soft toys.  I have two dogs so they also play together but they have tugger toys which they like to play with us.  Mine also like wildlife programs.  Finn loves Lions and Bran hates them and will stand at the TV and warn them off.

My dog has been bored the last couple of days..I try & play with her, but she's never been up for playing much. I've tried to teach her fetch for months, she does run to  the ball or toy but never brings it back! She has a 'pull thingy' but wont play tug if war with me, only my boyfriends son. Perhaps she's just not a player! Or is she suffering from lack of sun, like humans!!!

I also name Keepers toys and hide them, its amazing to see how they will go past a couple until he finds the one i've told him to find.

I only have to say the words "I'm gonna get it" and he's up going nuts trying to guess which toy i'm after and tries  toget it before i can.

He wont bring a ball back.......he will just touch it with his nose and leave it but he will bring his toys back or a stick if that is thrown.
