The government approved the first drug for obese canines today. Called Slentrol, the Pfizer Inc. drug is aimed at helping fat Fidos shed extra pounds.'

And here was me thinking it was because stupd owners overfed them!!! How is a pill going to stop that!

if they are anything like the UK ones that stop fat binding and therefore cause dire rear and wind if  you eat too much fat I can't see owners wanting to give them to their dogs.  Non stop dire rear and a stinky little butt until the owners learn to feed it less.
