A friend of mine has just brought me over some parma ham bones for the dogs as a late Christmas present. They look raw ( quite gross actually) and are vacumm packed - are these o.k to give? Thought I'd ask you lot first before I gave em! :)

LOL... yep! they look raw becuase they are in actual fact raw! ;)
They are air dried raw!
I personaly dont like to use them, Ive found that dogs will drink water for England after having them ( salty!) and they splinter to shards.
  Many people do use them though ( as recreational bones) I'd supervise and have plenty of water available and not let them cosume the whole bone.
