We had a party on Saturday and a good friend of ours was playing with Dudley :) The problem is she thinks that she has swallowed a ring of hers  She was play fighting and Duds was doing alot of mouthing and chewing and that was then she thinks it may have happened

I have been examining all the poos ( lovely job :D ) and haven't found it yet  I have had a good look round the house and haven't found it either

So what next ? It is a relatively small ring as she wears it on her little finger.

Do I wait to see if it comes out or as it has been a few days now should I go and get her Xrayed

She is happy in herself and is eating, drinking, weeing and pooing ok :)

I wouldn't be worried about the ring too much - I'm sure that it won't cause a problem. Not a lot you can do apart from sifting through each poo ................ It's your friend's fault, not the dog's so 'tough'  :D :D :D

Our old lab swallowed one of my ear studs when she was a puppy. The vet advised searching for it for a few days, but because it was a stud not a hoop to keep an eye on her in case it spiked her insides. A ring shouldn't cause any problems and should emerge in the fullness of time!

I might bag it up and get them to do the examinations :D :D

It is the friend who has just lost her Lab and she spent most of the evening fussing Duds as she was missing her old boy so much :(

It's more likely to have flown off her finger during the play and will probabaly come to light under a chair, behind the curtains or somewhere. Glad it's not me doing the "lucky poo dip" :D

I have just got a phonecall in a very cheery voice, 'I have just found it in the car'  :D

Oh dear :) - When we lose things, they invariably turn up where we least expect them :D :D

I wonder would a metal detector show up a gold/siver ring in the dog or in the poo ??

At least it would save having to rummage thru the poo's it isn't in :D :D :D  ew! ew! ew!

I have always wanted a metal detector :D Dog walking in muddy fields with one  Hours of fun :D :D

I have my revenge sorted :D

I bought a poo shaped mint and chocolate flavoured soap as a joke for Mike but think that with one of Indigo's play rings stuck in the middle wrapped up will be funny :)
