You're thinking of the post where they cook it the day before, then slice it, cover in gravy and warm it up on the day. Hopefully one of the posters will be on soon!!

my turkey is going in the oven soon and when it is done, hubby will carve from the underneath and eat a turkey warm sandwich, he has done this for years and thinks i do not know about it

I've also been told to cook my turkey upside down to make it juicy. My turkey is going in at 9.00am tomorrow!

I belive my mum is sorting out the turkey now.
It goes in, completely incased in foil at 11pm, and cooks all night. We eventually take it out at 10AM!!!!!
BUT
It is a 24lb free range turkey which is ALL meat!!!!!!!!
Lea :)
I think it may have been my post you were looking for :) I put it under idle chat, so it would've been deleted.
I put my turkey in at 11pm :) I'll fetch it out at 7am, i do the same every year :)
Mines just gone in, stuffed both ends, top covered in butter then streaky bacon on top of that followed by foil!!

:D

Mine is in as well ....covered in bacon and foil, butter under the skin and stuffed with two different stuffings in the neck end :D
Giblets are on the boil as well lol
