Probably 4-6 weeks time would be best. The pups are ready to go now (what a shame to have a litter at this time of year :( ) My bitches have always come into season after a litter at the same time as they would have anyway. What is your bitch's regular interval between seasons?

If the pups were born on October 25th she'd have been mated August 23rd, so in theory she'd have started her season on August 11th. Assuming the average 6-month cycle her next season would be due to start on February 11th. Spaying at the beginning of January should be okay. Alternatively, if you could guarantee 100% that there was no risk of mating, you could allow her to have her next season then spay her three months after it finishes.

I just had my girl spayed, her puppies were 12 weeks old, that's the earliest the vet would do her. She is fine now & i don't have to worry about her coming into season again.
