I think that when you pick them up they should be old enough for their vacs, my pup had his first jab at 9 weeks and the follow up one two weeks later.
I had him microchipped at 14 weeks, although someone told me this week that you shouldn't have them done before a year old as the chip can move or go too deep beneath the fat to be read. Perhaps it differs with each breed depending on how much growing they have yet to do, I can imagine a St Bernard chip getting burried for example!!!!!!!

most vaccinations are given 9 and 12 weeks then out walkies at 13w. Some vets do theirs at 8-10 weeks but can't go out until 12 weeks, it all depends on the make of the vaccine.
Microchipping can be done at any time, we have had no problems with chips moving in puppies, imo I would advise this to be done asap as puppies can get out of gardens and they are more desirable to thieves (a problem we have down here !)
