...could anyone make use of a load of A4 size ring binder folders??

I've tried my local Freecycle but no interest there. We have had a clear out at the office and are pretty much over run with A4 ring binders!! I'm not sure where they came from, but they have obviously been 'breeding' for some time in a large cupboard

There are literally several boxes of them, mostly used but some new. Our office is in Leamington, but I could also take them home to the Daventry area as well.

Please PM me if you are interested, I really don't want to chuck them in the bin - I've been trying to do my bit for the environment, and that just might undo the last few months efforts!!

They breed Claire, just like the outbreak of wire coathangers some years ago.  When rummaging for xmas decorations my daughter removed a shed-load of ring binders from our understairs hidey-hole and forced me to throw them away!  Ouch!  It was more uncomfortable than painful.

Good luck with your quest.

Can you offer them to your local schools (when they're back after Christmas) or places like that?

I was going to suggest your local secondary school or college or uni.

Hi,

I think i will offer them to local schools in the New Year, thanks for the idea guys, I hadn't actually thought of that, I was just so shocked by the amount we had I kind of panicked a bit!!!

I have got a couple of takers for a few of them, so hopefully they won't have to go to landfill.

I'll just have to hope they don't do any more 'breeding' over the holidays! :-D
