Marianne i could send you all the well wishes in the world, but what i want to say even more is,i hope now you might reconsider your stance on how important nutrition is? :)

Have you absolutely no feelings, Ktee?
You have the sensitivity of an earwig! - and that's being unfair to earwigs

You really are a silly person  You are like a leech feeding off what you think your opinion counts  Have you no feelings

Good grief! Ktee, you must have the hide of a rhinoceros. That's one of the most insensitive things I've ever read.

Thanks Liv, Margot, Lucy and Jan for that!

I was hoping to help, and maybe we ALL could come up with some helpful suggestions. This could hopefully turn out to be a productive thread for Marianne.I know i have loads and loads of links and nutrition/supplement articles i can post for her and anyone else that may be interested.
I didnt think one more well wish would help anything..... My main concern are the dogs :)

Sorry Ktee - but you bang this drum far too often!
Not everyone wishes to follow your regime - can't you accept that point?

Margot i have no wish to post about my regime :) But i think it would be helpful/productive to perhaps consider the possibility that years and years on X food may be a contributing factor to these diseases catching up to the dogs.Completely discounting this fact..well.. :(
The heading asked "for help",if thats not what Marianne wants, than i shall not give it. In the meantime i'm off to find some links that may be of some help to her and her dogs! If your interested Marianne? :)

Ktee -and this is all I will say- the HELP I asked for when this thread was started some time ago was to identify Simba's illness. I leave the treatment to my vet -who since of course has also given us a pretty sure idea of what is going on.
>My main concern are the dogs
What about people? Blaming the owner because you have a particular bee in your bonnet is just cruel.
By Ktee
Date 13.12.06 22:33 UTC
Jeangenie sweetie,i dont have a bee in my bonnet. :) "Blaming" the owner is not the words i would use,but if the health of our dogs isnt in the hands of their owners, than who's is it in then? The more info an owner has,the better, right?
ANyway my point was not to argue with anyone, like i said my main concern are for the dogs, they are afterall what matters most, especially in this case, and why we are all here, and yes at times they do come before the owners, ofcourse they do,particularly when their health is in danger, and i would hope their owners would put their insecurities, pride etc aside and perhaps look at things from ALL angles :)

Ktee, there's no excuse for what you've just done. This is not helpful, kind or even useful. Marianne's beloved dog did not get a tumour because she doesn't have the same opinion regarding food as you. What an insensitive and unkind person you are. I recommend a better diet; your brain and heart are obviously not getting the things they need to function properly. :-(

Well said Margot, can't believe anyone could stoop so low
Marianne, I know you'll be doing your very best for Simba, and making his days happy, he's a lucky dog to have a home like yours.

Thank you chaumsong, I really appreciate it.

http://b-naturals.com/email.phphttp://b-naturals.com/newsindex.phpDiet and Nutrition
Feeding proper foods to your dog is probably the most important contribution you can make toward reducing inflammation and easing the pain caused from the different joint conditions. Many foods can actually increase inflammation. These foods include grains, starches and vegetables from the nightshade family. Included in the grain and starch categories are any and all grains, rice, wheat, oatmeal, pasta, corn, potatoes (white and sweet), parsnips, winter squash, pumpkin and carrots. Included in the night shade family are peppers and sweet peppers, eggplant, and tomatoes.http://www.b-naturals.com/Feb2002.phphow to apologise to your petMarianne i wish you and your pets the best of luck, and i hope the above links are of some help to you.

Do you honestly believe that the things you feed are free from harmful preservatives etc.
I can' believe what I am reading on this board recently :-(
All for one and all that

Sorry,have i missed something here??

The OP asked for "some help please". All i have seen are well wishes and {{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}} which is all nice and fuzzy and may make Marianne feel better, but these messages are NOT helping her dogs, which is what i would have thought we should all be concentrating on,no?
Marianne if you would like some help and some educational links i would be more than happy to provide more for you.Really, if the last few hours i have been sitting up trying to find info for you is in vain, please let me know and i wont continue searching.

>I'm using the IGNORE button again
Lokismum et al,please do so,it works both ways ;) I dont need the bad vibes and karma i feel from you,and if you hit the ignore button i wont have to deal with those anymore....
So MArianne,i will just come straight out with it. :) Would you be interested in learning more about your dogs/cats illnesses(as i have loads of links such as the above),which is what i thought this whole thread was for,or would you prefer more well wishing posts. It's up to you?? :) Like i said i am more than happy to help by providing, not MY opinion, but opinions and studies of those who are experts in the fields of your dogs conditions.

I believe Marianne has already answered you Ktee! She is doing the very best for her dog, just because she chooses to feed him a different way from yours doesn't make it wrong, or a contributory factor. We could all find articles online supporting our feeding regimes and decrying others  This isn't the time or place for such a discussion, and in fact I think well wishing posts are actually more helpful than yours in this instance :)

i am so sorry to hear this hope all his good days vastly outnumber his bad ones. we have everything crossed here for your little one

Hope Simba stays relatively well and can enjoy his life.
I am sure you have done the best for him and all your animals so lets not make this thread become locked. Goldmali has had an awful year and doesn't need to be accused of not treating her dogs as well as she could. I am sure she is a brilliant dog owner although i don't know you personally all the things you talk about on here show that you know so much about dogs/cats and many other animals.
Sending loads of best wishes to you and simba and all your other animals. And hoping with all my heart that 2007 is a much better year to make up for this one.
All the best Anna
