Any ideas what to give Moose as the horrible dog has just eaten a half rotten pigeon followed by fox poo and maybe some cat poo as well  Her breath stinks  I have heard people mention tomato ketchup if they get fox poo on their coats so will this work do you think if I smother her supper in it tonight :D

Oh YUk! The worst thing is that Moose probably enjoyed every mouthful. Why do we spend all that money on expensive dog food and treats.

Pop to the pet shop and get those fresh breath biscuits for dogs, or if you have a chicken wing to hand, as you do :-D let her crunch it away, and hopefully the flesh and bones will clean her teeth too.

Oh Yuk!! You diiiiiirty dog Moose.

They smell much worse when regurgitated onto your kitchen floor, or worse still - lounge carpet!

She was going to get chicken tonight anyway but will have to wait as she has just been out on a good walk so need to wait a while  She is now lying right under me next to the sofa

And yes she loved every mouthful and refused to drop the pigeon and almost swallowed it whole

I just asked who is the stinkiest dog? Wag your tail and they both did :D :D I think it might be both of them as Dudley is now lying under me and the smell is still there

Dudley has probably been licking Moose's chops in order to share the delights! :D :D
- By LJS Date 11.12.06 17:24 UTC
No I think she had some poo as caught them both in the under growth like truffle pigs :D :D

Will they eat extra strong mints or polo's? You could clean their teeth, but don't use your own toothbrush! Aren't they disgusting sometimes? I own horses & have had to stop taking my 2 dogs into the horses field. About a year ago Tilly the terrier ate so much horse poo, that while we were at the pub in the evening she did 8 poo's in the lounge! Thank God I didn't invite friends back for supper! We actually laughed about it, because she is normally extremely clean, but it was just like horse poo not dog poo. I also now know that if you worm a horse & the dog's eat enough poo afterwards it can kill them. I don't take the risk now.

Tara needs a jolly good groom, but she gets so muddy that I can never find the right time to do it :( She'll be the grubbiest dog at agility tonight :D I'd wash her off, but she'll never dry before we go out :( Ooooh - I hate this time of year - seas of mud and mellow slimeyness :D :D
