well it has now been a week since daisy left us, it seems very quiet without daisy but she is getting on very well, im in the process of downloading photos sent to us by her new mum and dad and heres the email they have sent
Hi Jo, Eddie and Tanya
Thank you so much for trusting us to give Daisy the loving home she deserves. All has already brought laughter to our house. I have attached a few photos of her first day in her new home.
She settled in the car well on the journey home. We believe she hasn't dealt with stairs in her short life as she didn't know what to do with them. Kevin carried her up so she could investigate the upstairs of her new home. She saw her reflection in the full length mirror we have in our bedroom and decided it was a play mate. We laughed. He then had to carry her down again as she wouldn't came down on her own. She is a funny little thing but we already love her to bits. As you can see in the photos she has made herself at home here and loves cuddles.
I will stay in touch with her progress and keep sending photos.
Dawn and Kevin
the photos will soon be in her dairy

How wonderful to see her restored to glowing health again and happy in her new home. :) :)
She looks fabulous, what a fantastically, happy ending for her, her new owners look very content also.
This has been a wonderful story, so happy for her and well done on bringing her back from her terribly sad start, you would never know she was the same dog.
Congratulations to everyone on her full recovery. Have a very happy life now Daisy. :-)

Hi I have just looked at the pics of Daisy. I had tears in my eyes from beginning to end. Firstly when I saw the state of her when she was found and then seeing her progress you can see the change in her eyes and then the happy ending of a lovely new home. Thank you for sharing them, she is absolutely beautiful.

Lea :)
Hi
So glad for a happy ending, these words are written by some one else but I thought they would go well with Daisy's story. It's about 2 Dogs talking to santa and he ask them what they would like for Christmas
"We have chewies and balls and ropes to be tugged,
We are pampered and coddled and petted and hugged.
But for Christmas Dear Santa, we have but one care,
That all dogs be loved as much as we are.
We want no dog beaten, whipped or chained,
No dog abandoned, abused or maimed.
We want all dogs, no matter what size,
To see love reflected in their master's eyes
thank you everyone, we were sad to see Daisy go but seeing as she is scared of men, she latched onto her new dad very quickly and got into their car without a second glance, her new family are lovely people they came up to us in Norfolk from Essex, they arrived at lunchtime and stayed for a few hours, when they arrived home they phoned us to let us know that Daisy was fine, and have promised to keep us updated, they have said that their lives revolve around Daisy as it did for Diesel, and if Daisy cant go with them when they go out they dont go out :) . We are all so pleased that she got a new family for christmas.
Lea, Daisy and Poppy were homed together in the august, they were then apparantly stolen we were none the wiser until we had a call from a vet in kent to say Poppy had been hit by a car, her spine broken in three places :( this was in the january, then august this year we had a call to say daisy had been picked up by the rspca 10 mins from us, we had to fight to get daisy back from the rspca, and we think that if she had been found in kent we would never have got her back and there is all possibilty she would have been PTS, as the rspca inspector in our area wasnt sure that daisy was worth it :( and as she had demodex mange thought she would have been better off being PTS, we are so glad that he listened to our reasons for retaining microchip papers and spoke to the rspca representatives at the local kennels where we also board our dogs, had this not been so it isnt worth thinking about :( we just wish it could have been a happier ending for Poppy

Thanks Tanya, I was confused at how you knew,
Poor Poppy :(
And so pleased you were able to get Daisy back. Maybe a picture of before and after sent to the Inspector wouldnt go a miss, just to show how good she looks of course ;)
Sounds as if Daisy has landed on her feet well and truely :D
Lea :)
I agree photo's of how she progressed may change the minds of the inspectorss....
Daisy looks like a pig in muck...she's so landed on her paws!
Santa certainly was listening to find her a loving home for Christmas :D
