Does anyone know if they are harmful?

We have a large tree in our garden which is covered with berries. Our 15 month Kerry, Elvis has taken a fancy to them and is now often to be seen on hind legs chomping away at the branches..

I know they don't do the starlings any harm, but still. I've cut off most of the lower branches, but now he waits for them to fall off and hoovers them up. Can't think they're even tasty !

No sign of ill effects. Last night he launched himself across the room at the TV when a water vole appeared on it in an attempt at voleicide, so he seems in good shape.

Suggestions ??

Think he is safe, may get an upset tummy as he is not used to them if he hasnt got a good constitution but other than that you dont need to worry :)
