sad muppet that i am i love to watch all the old judge judies on the tv! i am always wondering one thing. when she rules for someone to pay say $5000 does the court pay the  person in cash and then get it back from whos paying- maybe at $2 a week if they are poor or does the person have to stump up the cash? what happens if they dont have the money? anyone shed any light on it?

I think the person found responsible has to pay and If they can't pay immediately they have to make arrangements to pay, possibly by instalments.

i loved the one with the bulldog breeder. woman tried to sue the breeder cos the dog had various problems and she wouldnt be allowed to breed from it. the breeder had offered a refund several times but the woman said no she was 'attached' to the dog and was suing for all the vet bills as well as a refund in purchase price but wouldnt give back the dog, she basically wanted her cake and to eat it too.  she threw it out 'case dismissed' it was brilliant!
