WHY WHY DO WE DO THIS.
Because it's worth it :D
I've spent X-mas in a hotel a long way from home, once. All alone, and virtually no food. Only McDonald's was open.......Another time I spent a week in Denmark, by the coast in a holiday resort, in February! It was absolutely freezing, I probably cost them more than I payed them, just in heating costs :-)
Good luck with your upcoming litter, and drive safely if you're going for a second mating.

Only 7 hours! ;)

The 2 times I've mated Miranda it's involved over 10 hours on the road back & forth from Scotland to Yorkshire, getting eye tests done enroute at Edinburgh and no getting home until well after midnight after having to negotiate the A1!

Hi Briedog,

I know exactly what it is like.. I had a hell of a week last week

I drove to Leeds on the friday 1st Dec ( left at lunch time) area from Fife to drop a bitch off to be mated got back at 1am  (12 hours later) due to traffic and of course an 580 mile round trip.

I then left again at 10 am on the Sat to go get a flight down to Bournmouth area to pick up a dog I had bought, I was to get the direct 8 hour train back to Edinburgh the next day.

Went to get my train Sunday morning and it had been cancelled so I had to stay another day!!!!. Finally got on train at 6am Monday morning but due to storms on the tracks etc I didn't get home till 6pm that night. Spent all my Tue and Wed eveningstrimming for LKA.

Headed back off down south for LKA on Thursday  got home Friday night at 11pm.. after another 600 plus miles

I tell you my OH is threatening to divorce me.  I am still recovering.  I couldn't do a thing all weekend.

I don't even have my tree up..:eek:
