Does anyone use or has tried these things? They are like a sort of fleecey sack that the dogs go in and they dry off without getting mud and hair everywhere, (thinking about it like that, i would like to keep ours in them all day ;-) :D )
I think there are also drying 'jumpers' as well. Any thoughts please as i'm thinking of getting 2 for OH for xmas.

Hi Helen
I bought a couple of these doggie bags a few months ago. They do keep the dirt and wet off your carpets but it takes a bit of practice to get the dogs into them ! Once in, our younger dog will sit perfectly still but the older one tries to walk as normal which, of course, is virtually impossible ! funny to watch though :-D

Does it really dry them in 20 minutes as stated on the description on the link ??
I tend not to leave them in the bags (not bought from Waggers btw) for very long as the dogs start getting fidgety after about 5 mins. Although the excess water/dirt is soaked up, their coats are still damp. Might work better if the dogs were crated whilst in the bags to prevent them trying to walk around :)

I looked at them for after I've taken my two swimming, but think I will get them some towelling bathrobe type things instead - just the thoughts of long greyhound legs and a bag.....don't think it would be a good idea!
Zorro tries to walk in his, which is pretty unsuccessful! It does dry him though :)
Hiya,
I tried one of these with Tizz, my working cocker. What a laugh!! It took me 10 minutes to get her to keep still enough to put it on, and 5 seconds for her to get out of it!.
I've now got a fleece dog jumper from Equafleece which i really recommend. Its in stretchy fleece, and i put it on Tizz after she's been swimming, or if she's sitting in the van for a long time when its cold.
After about 10 minutes she's dry, a quick rinse of the fleece and over the radiator and its ready for the next day!
I was always a bit unsure of coats for dogs, but after her accident, Tizz's coat is not very thick.
I am thinking of getting one of their polo dog coats for my 'mature' Labrador who is beginning to feel the cold when she's been out swimming or getting mucky!
Its got a stretchy collar (no buckles) and does up under the tum, but its cut very deeply so will cover her underneath.
Have a look on their website, they make all sizes/lots of nice colours and the service is great.

So are the sizes for the chest ? Also are the collars pretty generous as Moose has got quite a thick neck ? ( to go with her general level of intelligence :D )

I think the lengths they give are from neck to tail base, but afraid I've forgotten as I got the one for my gsp at a show and just tried on till I got the right one :D If you go to shows, it was at LKA I got mine, so they might well have a stand there again. I'd say the collars are fairly generous - but Dorain has a fairly streamlined neck, so not something I've had a problem with :D
Nope, just looked at the LKA Exhibitors list, they're not there this year. But I'm sure they'll help if you email them.
Equafleece website.

the collars are quite generous, Fagan can get a front leg up through his
