THE UK.BIAS BY THE BREED NOTE WRITER IS EVIDENT.TWO
INAUGURAL MEETINGS REPORTED,ONE AT THE BEGINNING
IN BLOCK CAPITALS THE OTHER HIDDEN IN THE MIDDLE
GIVEN NO SPECIAL SIGNIFICANCE.I DON`T OWN OR INTEND
TO OWN A SPANISH WATER DOG BUT I KNOW IF I WAS
THE CLUB WHO WOULD GET MY SUPPORT IS THE ONE WHO
GIVES ME THE CHANCE TO DISCUSS AND VOTE ON
FUNDAMENTAL ISSUES THAT ARE THE FOUNDATION OF
ANY CLUB OR SOCIETY.I SEE ONE ALREADY HAS A TITLE
WHO DECIDED THAT!!WARNING BELLS ARE ALREADY RINGING
IN MY EARS . SOME EGO`S MAY GET BOOSTED AT BEING
ELECTED TO "HIGH OFFICE" I HOPE THEY REMEMBER
WHY THEY ARE THERE.THE SWD I FEAR WILL BE THE ONE
TO LOSE OUT IN ALL THIS. I GENUINELY HOPE I`M

there two meeting on the same day,one with faye allen one of the founder members that bought the breed over 10 years ago,then theres one by philippa smedley and gaynor berry. that write the breed notes for our dogs,who not one of the four people that bought the breed over,as arrange the inaugural meeting of the proposed spainish water dog of uk,which they all thought that this was the meeting that faye was running,but fayes one is to discuss the formation of a proposed spanish water dog club,so this is were its be coming difficult.
i would of thougth that you have a fun meeting first to arrange what you would like to see and how to run the club and peoples intersted first then the arrange the inaugaural one,but then i may be wrong.what do i know,iam still learning all about this only beening showing,jugding,on commitees for the last 12 years and still leaning.

i just like to say two ads are the same like you say one under the breed notes i our dog page 44,the other in dog world page 73,the reason the dog world is where it is beacuse we donot have breed note in this paper.and it is under agms.
i have waited 5years for one of these little personality dog and iam not disappionted with the breed and watch the breed grow over the last 8 years.i am disappionted that like you say a split ranks in the breed already,so what hope has this breed got,if people cannot reunited together with this breed,at a early stage.i cannot get to the meeting due to work,but i have given my apogies,and relpy to the question on the emails,
but i have great repect for the four founder people that bought this breed into the uk and their hard work over the years,to get the stander of the breed to where it is today.it to easy for other;s to jump on the band wagon,
so i came keeping well out of it under still it is all settel down,
life is to short.

Unfortunately, I could see this happening a long time ago and to be truthful this is why I didn't want to rush into starting up a club. I am one of the original importers.

At the moment I don't know what I'll be doing, so we'll have to see. Glad that an outsider could see the difficulties that this is going to cause in the breed.

I'm not going to write any more on this subject as the written word can come out wrongly and I don't really want to against either groups.
