Hi all,  Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced home use inkjet all in one printer which is reliable and doesn't cost an arm and a leg for replacement ink cartridges?

What about this I have the slightly older version and it's fabulous. I buy compatible cartridges for £4 each :)

Isn't that one just for photos though?  I'm looking for something that prints, copies and scans photos and normal documents.

I bought an Epson Stylus Photo RX620 when I started working from home. It does everything but fax and so far has been great. Since the ink cartridges are separate you get to use all of the ink for each colour; something very important to me. I really liked the HP Photosmart 3310 and had I the choice to go back would probably but that one instead. I wanted to be able to scan my old slides which is why I bought the Epson but I haven't used that feature. I'd rather have the WiFi. (20:20 hindsight)

A few weeks ago I bought the Epson Stylus Photo RX520, it scans, photocopies, prints from a memory card, prints from your negatives copys documents, prints directly from the printer no need to turn pc on to use it. And best of all you buy seperate ink cartridges, and they work out much cheaper. I bought 2 cyan, 2 yellow, 2 magenta and with P+P it cost £8.01. I love the printer.

We have the Epson Photo R300.  Great printer but wish I'd gone for a dual purpose mainly the scanner option as my scanner is now on it's last legs.

I have an Epson RX420 which is printer, photo printer, scanner and photocopier.  Not used it for photos yet but the rest is great.  It does get through cartridges quickly though, quicker than my old Lexmark so I buy my cartridges off ebay and they cost about £6 for a set of 4 (3 colour and 1 black).
