hi every one got a question to ask about recall, my pup who is 8 months now has good recall at home but when i take him to the park i put him on a long line and call him now and again pretend to take of the lead hes ok with this even when we play he will bring his toy back but we dont play for to long as he gets board with it,but as soon as he sees a dog he wants to be off with them to play he will even sit and wait for them but will totally ignore me ha ha am i doing something wrong or is it his age he loves people wont leave them alone wants every one to be his mate by the way hes a rottie and not very food orintated , and those who remember me when i first came on about his food intolarance he is doing much better i put him on lamb and rice jwb with some green tripe i just have to be carefull with certain foods but we are getting there.

I would think it's mainly his age :) Keep him on the long line until you feel sure that he is steady to the recall. My 8 YEAR old bitch is back on a line as she has just become very 'deaf' ;) Funny how she can hear a crisp packet open from the other end of the house when she is asleep :D By the way her son is sniffing her I think this may be the time when she should have been in season (she's speyed ;) ) Things should be back to normal soon. I hope. :D
