Whats the going rate for a hydrotherapy session?  Ive enquired locally and was told £22.00 for half an hour which includes a shower and drying.
How does this compare with yours ?

the pool i used in essex charges £16 a session they start off with 5 mins then slowley build the dog up to a max of 15 mins then they start using the jets and inclued a shower and drying them off after but because i take both dogs she charges me £26 per session for both dogs and does if you pay for 6 you get 7th free

I pay £7.50 a session and they start them off gradually and work up to 15 mins and that also includes drying off afterwards!!

Never realised what good value for money it was until I got talking to people but I think it must be because we are in quite a rural area so they need to do it cheap to get people to use it!!

I pay £12.50 to swim 2 dogs which includes a rinse, drying off etc. They'll also have the dog a wash if I ask but I dont do that every week.

That's even better value than mine!!!!

I know the people who run the pool so they let me swim 2 dogs for the price of 1 (usually it is £5 extra for each additional dog). I'm not complaining!! :)

£18 for 30 minutes for therapy, £16 for 30 minutes of fun swim and if you buy a block of 12 you get 2 free. They have a dryer if your dog will let you near them with it. Mine has a bath robe. :-D

When Shay was having hydro earlier this year, it was £15 per session (swim, shampoo (if requested) and dried) and £5 extra for a jacuzzi after the swim.

I was on the merrylegs website the other day Helen!!! Somebody sent me the link to have a look at!!!

I think they're really good. Prices have gone up since I first started going as it's changed hands, but the sessions are a bit longer. I did look around for other places at one point as it's quite a way for me to travel up to Thirsk, but none of the others round here will have someone in the pool with the dog if necessary. My dog tended not to use his back legs much at first so I felt he benefitted a lot more by having someone in the pool with him.

Hi

Yeah they'll get in with them where I go if they need it too...think it can really help them when they will. Had never had anything to do with hydrotherapy until I started taking mine but am so pleased I started now. Did you get my email back???

Paula.
