i have a ESS and his breed name on his papers is rousing thunder how can i find out if this a good breed or not or if anyone can give any advice about this.

Hi, did you not do any research into the breed before you bought your dog? Did you buy any books, talk to a lot of breeders, normally you should really do this before you buy a puppy, is your dog Kennel Club Registered, that is a green form the breeder should have given you, and signed, and you should have sent this to the K.C. to transer the dog into your ownership, or, do you just have a predigree certificate, this can either show 3 generations or 5 generations of your dog? Go back to the breeder and ask some questions, is your dog from "working strain" or show, I gather its an English Springer Spaniel or does ESS mean another breed? Im not very good with other breeds mine are westies. Someone else with knowledge of your breed should reply to your query, but the breeder or stud dog owner is the best place to start.
