I was given a beautiful orchid in the Summer - my first orchid. My friend told me that when all the flowers had died off I would have to cut it back and it would flower again next year. Well, the flowers are now nearly all dead and I was about to ask how far back I should be cutting the stems. But, I have noticed that there are 2 new wee shoots growing. Should I cut it back or should I leave it to see if it flowers again, if I don't cut it back will it still flower next year????
