Hi there, Just wondering if anyone had used these with any success, I have been looking at the Super Bark stop and the Super Bark free. These are the wall mounted ones not the collar ones.
Reason I ask to cut a long story short we have a GSD next door who doesn't ever leave the premises and every time he is in the garden (a lot) he constantly barks at the fence between us or his front gate. We have lived here quietly with our Boxers for a good few years but since this German Shepherd moved in ours have taken to barking back and our senior bitch now goes out looking for it.  We have recently had a note left on our car (anonymous suprise suprise) telling me to shut our dogs up or else, people around here know we have dogs but never see this German Shepherd as although it neighbours us it is around the corner on a busy road and never goes out I'm sure people think it is ours barking. If these ultra sonic devices work it would be money well spent as I must go out to fetch my dogs in 100 times a day and am getting paranoid about it. Bye the way the woman who owns the Shepherd is totally unapproachable and seems not to care ours are getting the blame. On the odd days she goes out and locks it inside it is bliss mine play quietly in and out all day. Any advice would be appreciated.

dont waste your money they certainly dont work on my (standard) schnauzers. i started with it in the garden and that didnt work so i put it by the front door and it doesnt stop them barking when the bell rings even though it must hurt their ears! however, they are a stubborn breed so i can only speak for them. i bought the big expensive one- i think it was £50 on ebay. the best way to stop them barking was to let them have  acouple of woofs (fair enough) and then call them in, praise when they are in and quiet and give  a treat, i wouldnt say its cured but its better. however, i cant imagine how bad it would be if we had dogs next door! i sympathise!

I used one for my boy when he was in an outside kennel. It really worked quite quickly for him. I don't use it now as we have a puppy and I thought that it would be unfair to my adult dog who knows not to bark  if the puppy barked and they both got told off.
I think that mine was about £60 and it was from this website http://www.zencatalog.com/PestControl/pest_control_store_Ultrasonic_products_for_the_home_37.html (sorry dont know how to do links) and it was the Super Bark Free Bark Controller PET013. It is good outside and seemed to work well.
I don't think that it is ideal but I was desperate and used it alongside other training.
Hope this helps

I would contact the dog warden and ask for their help. If it is the GSD that is causing the problem then they should be able to approach the owner :)
