Is it possible to fly with a dog from the mainland to Belfast?
Thanks
Diane

My family home is in N. Ireland but my mother has always taken her animals by boat from the mainland. However, I do know that neither Ryanair nor Easy Jet carry animals on their flights and I'd suggest googling up the various airlines that fly into Belfast City or Aldergrove (or whatever they call it nowadays!!) and check their terms and conditions. Be prepared that it may well not be a budget priced flight though!

Aldergrove is Belfast International Airport. Ryanair used to carry animals but they've stopped and I don't know of another airline that does. I always take the dogs on the ferry.

BMI, Fly-Be and Air Berlin fly into City (aka. Harbour) Airport but I don't know about carrying animals?

Easy-Jet flies into Belfast International (formerly known as Aldergrove) but I see Roz has said they don't carry animals.  Ryan Air only fly into Eglinton (Londonderry) as far as I know (about 70 miles from Belfast).
