My yorkie is is 19 months old and had her first season in March. She still hasn't had a second season. I know it is "normal" to be approx. every 6 months but I wondered how long bitches can actually go between seasons.

it depends on the individual bitch, but i think if the gap between seasons goes on past a year then take her to the vets for a test they can do to measure hormones.  hope someone else can come along with more experience soon
