Topic Dog Boards / Breeding / PARTI-COLOURED, COCKER SPANIEL BITCH PUPPY WANTED

MY VERY GOOD FRIEND WHO HAS LOST HER 13 YEAR OLD COCKER 3 MONTHS AGO IS LOOKING FOR A NEW VALUED FAMILY MEMBER. SHE WOULD LIKE A PARTI-COLOURED COCKER BITCH PUPPY TO COME HOME IN THE NEW YEAR, WHEN ALL THE FUSS OF CHRISTMAS IS OVER.
SHE LIVES IN SURREY AND WILL TRAVEL REASONABLE DISTANCE FOR THE RIGHT PUPPY. PUPPY MUST BE K.C. REGISTERED AND PARENTS MUST HAVE HAD ALL RELEVANT HEALTH CHECKS. PLEASE CAN YOU HELP.

Her very best bet is to contact the Cocker Spaniel Club.  A puppy sourced through the club will come from a breeder conforming to their code of ethics and helps to avoid the disreputable breeder that this breed, all too often, is used by.

Thanks Isabel,
She has tried there, she is also looking on K.C. puppy register on a daily basis. Just thought there may be some-one here who knows of, or has a litter themselves.

Well bred puppies are not often available immediately, except due to cancellations for instance, so her best bet is to find a breeder, with good healthy stock, and get on their waiting list.  If she does find a litter, via the kennel club, I would recommend that she checks that they are a breed club member as the kennel club do  not apply particularly robust criteria to the breeders they accept listings from.  By checking they are breed club members I mean giving the club a call as not every breeder is as honest in what they tell you as you might hope :)
