We have just had a new addition to our family, a beautiful 10 week blenheim boy ckcs.
Last year our little girl Maisy (she too was belenheim) went to Rainbow Bridge.
BUT........ any good names out there for him. Charlie seems a bit obvious (but lovely).
The kids want their friends names and hubby suggested "Dave" !!!!!!!!! No disrespect to anyone out there LOL
I love him to pieces (pup not husband)!!!
A name would help us on our way.

We got our Blenheim cav last November and spent a long time looking for names.  We ended up calling him Flynn which means son of a redhead (The original pups dad was a ruby but got different pup).  We looked at all the royal names like Charles or Charlie, Albert or Burt, William or Wills etc etc.

Good luck in finding a name.  It isn't easy is it?  Let us know what you call him though.  I am so jealous

We had a donkey recently, as we couldn't think of a name, we called him 'Elvis'. We had listened to an 'Elvis' cd on the way to look at him.

My daughter didn't really like the name, but after hearing the noise he can make when he is calling for us, or saying goodbye when we leave him, the name has stuck. He does have horsey pals, but he adores humans.

It's different, I don't know anyone else with a donkey called Elvis!

Well I vote for Charlie - I have a Charlie (English Setter) and he is just so loving and cheeky - we call him Chaz too and even Charles if being norty!! So I think you should go with the name Charlie :) :)

Just saw your other post - I have a Max too - so Max is also a good name :-D

Glad you liked Rudy :) Or how about Caspar/Kasper, Edwin (quite royal sounding) or Teddy?? I'm dead good at thinking of names - pity it took me so long to think of one for mine (who was going to be Lex but I was over-ruled)

Davey would work quite nicely, so would Harry (one of mine's a Henry). Have to say Charlie is a bit obvious, I know a lot of Cavaliers called that!

Hi,

Awww, congrats with the new pup - I'm soooo jealous! I have a little ruby boy called Harvey but I also liked Bailey and Robin. I would love to add a little black and tan girl to our family one day and I think I would call her milly.................we can dream can't we:rolleyes:

Good luck and enjoy your new baby.

I have two of the littl'uns.  Daisy and Douggie.  We used the pedigrees.  All their ancesters had a name beginning with D, so we decided on a D.  My old Spaniels used to be called Jake and Ellie?  Jake is a nice doggie name.... Otherwise:

Ollie
Ralphie (I know but I think its cute!)
Chester (Although, I think this si a big dog name)
Toby (My nana's spaniel)

Can't think of any more right now!
