will be there with my Gordon
Never been to Keysoe, do they have anywhere to get a cuppa? I have heard varying reports on the venue.
Thank goodness it's only half an hour away from home.
Maybe we should all wear a flower so we can recognise other champdoggers!!

Last time I was there was the end of last year and it was freezing! The roads outside were iced up and i think it was warmer outside than it was inside!
If my memory serves me right there was a cafe at the back of the arena and the food was not too bad (can't really remember so can't have been too bad!)
I'm taking plenty of jumpers and making sure I have filled up the car so I can keep the heating on!

Food and drinks are nice and resonsably priced last time I was there :)
Yes, friends of mine went last year about that time and they said it was very cold, but I've heard that they have improved it a bit.Don't know if this is true, I guess we shall find out on Sunday.I do know that a couple of show societies have gone back to Wood Green despite the cost, because of the complaints from exibitors. Oh well we shall see.

The problem with Keyso was it was abit cold o begin with and afew people had problems. The venue has only recently started taking dog shows and compared to wood green was cold, muddy and lets not forget woodgreen is very luxurious for what it is. Keyso is not the worse venue I have been too and since the dog shows have started there the owners have done alot (put in heating, roll the floor, invest in carpeting) and is planning on somehow finding money to hard surface the carpark (you dont find many of them!) and so other smaller bits to make it nicer for the dog showers!
I do hope exhibitors do start to like Keyso it is a nice venue and I personally think Ardingly is just as bad in the winter but still many people go there :)
Been to Ardingly in the summer and it has been a quagmire and freezing cold, and that was at an Antique Fair.
We will give Keysoe a go being as it is only up the road and see what its like. There are not usually many Britts entered so if it is cold we can always leave early. Not to mention the weather forcast for this weekend is supposed to be warm and sunny. Ghill will not be bothered one way or t'other.Just me thats a heat freak.Guess I could take a hip flask with the sloe gin inside!!
Jan
yes it was cold there last year, i will come and share your sloe gin!! i will be there with my yankie he doesnt mind the cold [got more coat than me]. think iwill wear my thermals just incase, i can always take them off. good luck everybody.

At hitchin last year I was stewarding and I spent two days in huge coat and lovely warm hat! :) So yes it was cold but I was also standing around doing nothing alot!
Definately taking the sloe gin then, you are all welcome to come over and make yourselves known and have a glug [lovely word that]
Mine is the dog that is all four feet off the ground most of the time and we are in open.
