My Henry got BOB at an open show on Sunday - only about the 3rd decent result he's had all year, but I was thrilled that he's still got it even at 4 1/2 years. Beat some lovely dogs too, and the close running 2nd placed dog in his class is the same age, so the youngsters don't always have it their way! My Ellie got 2nd in the breed and 3rd in the Stakes too, so we had a great day! :-)

4 and a half is not old , my newfie looks the best she ever has and she is the same age, she took the CC at windsor over the younger girls, some judges like mature and some like the veterens

Well done LucyD, was that you I was standing next to with my shih tzu in the stakes class at Maidstone on sunday.

There was a shih tzu on one side of me I think yes - hello!! Were you the lady who hadn't done many shows, or was that the lady on the other side of me? My memory's awful!!

Hi LucyD  It must have been the lady the other side of you who hadn't done many shows,one of my boys got 1st in AV toy/utility/terrier/hound stakes  and my other boy got a 1st in the AV not bred by exhibitor stakes I was very proud of both of them.

Woo hoo, he did it again today! BOB and G2 this time - I'm so proud of him! Only problem is now I might be tempted to rethink his retirement plans! My poor girl only got 3rd out of 3 though, I was told she's a bit overweight (oops!). Must get a couple of pounds off her, it can't be any worse than that as she's still got a waist.
