Weird question... sort of... how long after eating their food will a dog need the "toilet"?  My 2 seem to need a poo about 11 hours later and then again 2 hours after that?  Is that odd? They go for up to 5 poos a day... could this be because they are 5 months old?

Can't find any real relevant info elsewhere...

After breakfast my two go within 30 minutes :)  And the younger one about four hours after that.
But after tea anything up to 5 hours.
One is 2 and the other nearly 3 yrs old.

My dogs seem to  instinctively know how many poo bags I have on a walk and then poo one extra time when I am out of them I am sure they save a bit just to embaress mum

:-D They do that don't they, I thought it was just mine, I now take a pocket full just in case, I also offer them to others who have also been tricked into using the last one. ;-)

Don't they always just whait till you tie a knot in the last bag before doing that last little bit!!

My boy has his first am one before breakfast, then when out on walk perhaps another, and another at tea time,my girl at the mo well... we are just happy for a semi firm one!!

mine tend to have three a day. First thing before breakfast on their morning walk, again on the afternoon on their walk (so about 7 hours after eating, although sometimes they go when i get in at lunch time), then again on a night before bed (about 5 hrs after their tea).
