So has anyone finished the nominated book? Any thoughts?

Have to say I couldn't put it down & read it in 3 days, absolutely loved it, probably one of the best books I've read in the past few months, although I have just finished Snow Flower & The Secret Fan & loved that too!  Now reading Hislop's Island...

Yes, I read it - enjoyed it well enough really, but not any major thoughts on it to be honest.

Thought the relationship between Kamryn, the child and the boss (can't even remember names, that's how much it stuck in my mind! Ah yes, just looked it up, Tegan and Luke) was very bizarre to start with - when he was offensive to Kamryn and had no previous relationship whatever with Tegan, I couldn't quite understand why she would have allowed him to be around so much.

(Loved Snow Flower, and really enjoyed The Island too.)

What was the book and author - think I will buy it and read it cos you sound like its a really good book!
