Hi, need to pick your brains!!!

I've been invited to a fancy dress party, (gosh haven't been to one in ages) the theme is favourite film star.

Well, Miss Monroe springs to mind, but I guess she will be quite popular, I have  blonde hair which I can do anything with, don't really fancy dying it or wearing a wig, can you think of anyone and paricularly how people would know who I was any gimmicks to go with the person??  I can't think of anyone. :-( I'm completley stumped. Heeeelp!

My tip go something you'll be comfortable in all night (My self and OH went to a party that was themed "what you wear wearing when the Hotel burned down"....lots of people wrapped in towels..recipe for disaster!! we went as Firefighter and Policewoman, and OH despite the female attention (!!) regretted his costume as it was too hot and bulky :rolleyes:)

or... be cryptic, dont have a costume! one guy turned up at our party dressed as normal but wearing a string of Biro's round his neck (unfortunately I cant remember what it meant (Red wine memory loss!!) but it was very clever I seem to remember?? :D)

lol you could just go in normal clothes then make people guess who you are and then just go with something that they guess, but that would be pretty boring.

OH and I were at a fancy dress party last night. We went as Sandy and Danny from Grease :) Ebay is great for finding all the gear.

How about King Kong's lady love - sorry, can't remember who played her in any of the films but I'm sure they were all blonde.

Oh I love that, and hubby and the boys could go as King Kongs. :-D

Glad you liked it - I like the idea of the men as King Kongs!  Nice and glamorous for you.

King Kong's "love" was Ann Darrow - played in the 1933 film by Fay Wray (she died only recently, aged 99!)
