I posted a few weeks ago saying Jazz was grabbing his back end and he seems to be doing the same.  Last time when he was doing this his anal glands were blocked.  Could it be the same thing in such a short space of time. 

This time though he isnt scooting just seems to be in general discomfort.  He is not himself and is off his food today.

I have noticed though that on the underside of his back leg there seems to be lumps under the skin, the lumps are small less than the size of a pea.  Jazz does suffer with his hips so dont know if this could be realted to that.  Any help would be much appreciated.

It sounds like an allergic reaction. Do you take him for walks with long grass and nettles?

Maybe his glands are just starting to block up?  Unless you've changed something to try and combat this problem since they last blocked, they'll probably do it again, and without being emptied regularly (i.e. when the dogs goes to the toilet) they can fill up pretty fast.

Other things that come to mind would be abdominal discomfort (would translate to general discomfort, unwillingness to sit/lie down etc), parasites - does he need worming? - and an allergic reaction as Beckyjess suggested.  His hips might be aggravating him as well.  Difficult to say from an online thread of course!  If his appetite doesn't pick up I'd get him to the vet.

yea could be a reaction to something,prahapse it could be from the grass or something like neattle stings it sounds like that? if there is lumps on his legs and things as ya said i cant see it being worms,i had a dog that took a reaction to a bush that he was in contact from a forrest and he came up in limps all over him but the lumps were more about the size of a small marble,it sounds like a reaction to me but again im not a vet just saying by my own experience,if you are worried get him to a vet.
