Our Eurasier is coming on in leaps and bounds with her training (Ive had her assessed by 2 seperate friends who are trainers, and tomorrow she's going to a village hall coffee afternoon bring and buy for age concern on a mock assesment) I have warned her let me down and I'll swap her for the nearest batch of homemade cakes..quick as look at her!! ;)
so all being well I'd like to put the wheels in motion to submit an application for her to be considered as a PAT dog....
Does anyone have any experience to share please?
I wanted first to make sure she'd be suitable so am hoping Ive got her up to pre-application standard ( as I dont want to 'time waste' on a whim) so now would just like some idea of the reality/expectations etc..

If she is generally calm in new situations, loves cuddles and is happy in loud enviroments (as they can sometimes be) the other necessities to pass the test is loose lead walking, taking a treat gently, being able to be examined by you and another person, reaction to a sudden loud noise, general temperment throughout test.

I think if you think she will enjoy it and she acts well with people and situations she will do great.

Alfie had his assessment on Monday and passed :) he was really good but basically as long as they are calm and dont mind being handled then they will pass.

Oh how wonderful Lovely to see the furry red head is as good as you thought she would be ;)
