whats the best brush to use on a cavalier, esp those long curly ears, I was looking at slicker brushes but didn't relise you can get them if firm soft etc.  Do they have an undercoat?
Thanks

I use a "doggyman" slicker brush (white with a blue band) that are available at most champ shows.  I've got gordon one who has very long ears and find they don't pull out too much coat.

I just use the basic slicker brush, not sure what softness / firmness it is I'm afraid, it's just the most common one of the range. Then I run through with a comb as well to be sure I've got all the tiny knots. :-)
